As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will be responsible for:
Providing direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene
Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and reporting any concerns or issues to the nursing staff
Collaborating with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Demonstrating empathy, compassion, and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues
Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Help patients with mobility and transfers, including using equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients, families, and colleagues
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and observations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
Must be certified as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Texas
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients, as needed
