Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a qualified EEG/Neurodiagnostic technologist to perform non-invasive tests under supervision in lab, ICU or OR settings. You will operate specialized neurodiagnostic equipment to assess nerves, muscles, brain and spinal cord as part of a clinical team.

Candidates must hold current ABRET EEG, CNCT or R.NCS.T. credentials and meet IAC certification requirements; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Credentials must be current to maintain program certification.
• ABRET/CNCT/R.NCS.T./ABEM or equivalent credential per IAC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive neurodiagnostic tests per guidelines.
• Operate neurodiagnostic equipment in lab, ICU or OR settings.
• Work under supervision of clinical manager to test nerves, muscles, brain and spinal cord.
