Job summary

Required credentials include ARRT MR or RT or ARMRIT MR certification, plus BLS; one year of MRI experience and additional Life Support certifications are preferred to support specialized units and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to produce tomographic images of designated body parts.
• Ensures image quality and patient safety during MRI procedures.
