Job summary

Aspire Hospital in Texas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with JRCERT-certified radiologic technology training to perform MRI and CT imaging. The role requires ARRT radiography credentials, state MRT licensure, and CPR/BLS certification.

You will ensure patient safety and quality imaging, under Radiologist guidance. Responsibilities include patient screening, contrast administration under protocol, and equipment checks, with adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program certificate.
• Bachelor of Science from a JRCERT program in Diagnostic Imaging or Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI/CT imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to site Radiologist protocols.
• Completes and signs Patient Screening form and explains the procedure to the patient.
• Maintains patient care, comfort and safety during transport to and from the coach and during the exam.
• Maintains technical competency through continued education and company-sponsored training.
• Administers contrast agents under guidance and site protocols.
• Maintains Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.
• Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems; calls for service as needed.
