Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and plan corrective actions
• Fabricate parts with machine tools (lathe, mill, drill press, welder)
• Operate testing equipment and precision measuring instruments
• Lead equipment installation and relocation efforts
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and PLC issues
• Maintain maintenance records and safe work practices
• Be able to read blueprints and manuals

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, rebuilds, and maintains precision machines and production tools.
• Diagnoses machine malfunctions and plans actions to restore operation and prevent future breakdowns.
• Rebuilds machines and overhauls components as needed.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, and manuals for safe repairs.
• Fabricates parts using lathe, mill, drill press and welder.
• Operates testing equipment, power tools and precision instruments.
• Leads installation and relocation of machine tools.
• Troubleshoots electrical and PLC problems.
• Maintains records and a safe, organized work environment.
• Trains apprentices and supports team members.
