• Builds strong relationships with students’ families through consistent communication regarding progress and by offering ways families can support learning at home.
• Participates in school-wide assessments to identify and address student needs.
• Supervises students during lunch and/or recess.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Connecticut Teacher Certification, or eligibility for reciprocity from another state in an equivalent certification area, required.
• At least one year of teaching experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in a nonprofit and/or charter school environment preferred.
