Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a Certified Medicine Aide to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a long-term care setting in Waterville, ME. You will prepare and document routine and PRN meds, maintain cart and room stock, and liaise with the pharmacy for orders and refills.

Applicants must complete state-approved medication aide training and CNA programs, plus have at least one year of CNA experience, with strong English communication skills for patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must complete state-approved medication aide training.
• Must complete state-approved CNA training program.
• Must have one year of CNA experience and be able to read/write/speak English for patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications as prescribed and document administration.
• Maintain medication supply, clean and restock carts and the medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.
