Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a Certified Medicine Aide to administer medications and creams under state guidelines, under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role requires CNA certification and at least one year of CNA experience, with strong reading and speaking English to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include preparing and administering prescribed meds, maintaining supply, documenting administration, and coordinating with pharmacies for orders and refills.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a state approved medication aide training course.
• Must have completed a state approved certified nursing assistant training program.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and medicated creams under supervision and per regulations.
• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications and document administration.
• Maintain medication supply and restock medicine carts/rooms.
• Notify pharmacy of new orders and refills and monitor vitals as indicated.
