Wellpath is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role emphasizes HIPAA confidentiality and adherence to medication protocols.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1-year related experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Must be certified as a Medication Technician in the state within which services are provided, and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Monitor and document patient vitals, symptoms, and behavior; report abnormalities.
• Participate in audits, trainings, and staff onboarding processes.
• Maintain medication supplies and equipment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Float between units and support clinical operations while upholding HIPAA standards.
