Certified Medication Technician/Med Tech (Full-Time)(3rd shift) - Mallard Ridge

Mallard Ridge Assisted Living, part of Navion Senior Living, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration and resident care roles. Our Technicians deliver high-quality medication administration and oversee resident care in a modern Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

This is a full-time position on the 3rd shift, supporting our residents!

Responsibilities
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Protect residents' rights and treat them with dignity and respect.
  • Participate in in-service and continuing education programs as required by state regulations.
  • Remain calm under stressful conditions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' information per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Adhere to the community dress code to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Complete documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Report changes in residents’ conditions promptly to supervisors.
  • Follow policies and procedures to complete work schedules and tasks.
  • Operate equipment safely, using only tools for which training has been provided.
  • Follow infection control practices with all activities.
  • Understand fire and emergency procedures and report safety violations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
  • Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification is required.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a senior care environment.
