OVERALLJOB PURPOSE

• Support residents with memory loss by using patience, empathy, and specialized communication techniques
• Encourageand/orremindresidentstoparticipateinactivities.Promotepurposeful engagement that matches residents’ cognitive abilities and personal preferences
• Assistinkeepingtheenvironmentsafeandhappyforresidents
• Implement elopement-prevention and other safety measures specific to memory care residents
• Immediatelyrespondtoresidentemergencies;providefirstaidassistance;debriefanddocument incident following company procedures
• Accurately document medication administration, care provided, and observations in electronic health records per company policy
