Job summary

Qualifications

• Active and up-to-date Certified Medication Technician status in Missouri.
• Active insulin certification in good standing with Missouri.
• Basic Life Support/Healthcare Provider CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain medication rooms with sufficient supplies and medications.
• Provide direct care and support to forensic psychiatric and sex offender patients in various security levels.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Assist in checking vital signs, height, and weight as assigned.
• Record fluid intake and output accurately.
• Report on patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Perform environment of care checks and security-related tasks in a mental health setting.
