Heritage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to provide accurate medication administration and compassionate daily care for residents in a sub-acute and long-term setting.

The role requires RI CMA certification, CNA/CHHA as applicable, CMA experience, and proficiency with oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous meds. Join a team prioritizing safety, accountability, and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Rhode Island Medication Technician/Aide Certification.
• CNA or CHHA/HHA certification required as applicable.
• Previous CMA experience required.
• Experience administering oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous medications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical instructions.
• Ability to work with multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per physician orders and policies.
• Provide medications via oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous routes as certified.
• Observe residents for medication responses and report changes or adverse reactions.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed nursing supervision.
• Ensure medications are stored, secured, and documented per procedures.
