Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to administer medications and monitor patients under RN supervision in a facility setting.

The role requires state certification, CPR, and SRNA certification, with a focus on compassionate care and adherence to HIPAA policies. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered for full-time employment and benefits include wellness programs and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification.
• Must maintain their SRNA certification.

How you make a difference

The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role ensures compliance with medication protocols and participates in audits and performance improvement activities. The technician documents medication administration and patient observations accurately while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality standards. They assist in training new staff, attend team meetings, and support overall clinical operations. Additional duties include equipment handling, supply management, and floating to various patient care areas as needed.
