Job summary

NHC HealthCare West Plains is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our West Plains, MO team. We offer AM and PM shifts with full-time or part-time options in a family-oriented environment.

The role involves preparing, administering, and charting medications, monitoring vitals, and supporting the charge nurse. Missouri CMT licensure is required; we provide benefits, uniforms, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Missouri CMT certification required.
• Must be caring, compassionate, and be a team player.
• Ability to work with medication administration and charting as directed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and chart medications by all routes except parental routes.
• Chart vital signs, intake/output and monthly weights to aid the charge nurse.
• Reorder medications as needed in timely manner.
• Put medications away when received from pharmacy and monitor for discrepancies.
