Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in Mecklenburg County, Charlotte, North Carolina. This full-time role includes day and night shifts at the detention center, with compensation in the stated hourly range.

The CMT will deliver quality care within their scope of practice and support a safe environment for patients and staff. Must hold a valid CMA/CMT certificate; previous corrections experience is preferred but not required.

CERTIFIED MEDICATION TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY

The CMT delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state. The CMT assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours; works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient and other staff members.

• Must possess a current and valid CMA / CMT certificate
• Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice
• Experience in corrections desired but not required
