Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS) seeks a Certified Medication Aide for full-time coverage at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center in Augusta, GA. The CMA provides care within the scope of practice and ensures a safe environment for patients and staff.

Corrections experience is preferred but not required; candidates must hold CMA/CMT credentials in the state of employment. We offer competitive wages, an annual incentive bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE POSITION SUMMARY

The CMA delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state. The CMA assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours; works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient and other staff members.

• Must possess a current and valid CMA / CMT certificate in the state of employment
• Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice
• Experience in corrections desired but not required

CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE SCHEDULE

• Full Time
• Day Shift
• 8am-4:30pm
• Evening Shift
• 6 pm-2:30am
• 32 hours weekly
• Every weekend
