Qualifications

• Assist with medication administration under licensed nurse supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and overall resident health.
• Maintain accurate records of care and medications.
• Collaborate with care team to implement individualized plans.
• Certified Medication Technician certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of medications and treatments to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Conduct vital signs and observe resident behavior to ensure their overall health and safety
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to promote a supportive and caring environment
• Collaborate with the care team to create and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including medication administration and vital signs
• Participate in educative programs and in-services to enhance knowledge and skills in medication management and care techniques
• Certified Medication Technician certification is required
