Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our nursing team on weekend shifts. You will coordinate medication administration and assist residents with daily living activities in a caring, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Certification to pass medications (CMA) as required by state regulations.
• Certified Medication Aide credentials required for the role.
• Ability to coordinate medication administration and assist with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications for assigned residents.
• Assist with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals and activities.
• Monitor residents' comfort and respond as needed.
• Document daily shift reports and resident records accurately.
• Communicate urgent needs to the Health Care Director clearly.
• Manage tasks within the scheduled shift.

Certified Medication Aide

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities--

Certified Medication Aide

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident's physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift

Bonus opportunities--

Certified Medication Aide

• Perfect attendance bonus-$75 for full-time (up to a $1,950 annual benefit) and $35 for part-time (up to a $910 annual benefit)
• Shift differential-$1+ per hour depending on location and shift assignment
