You will follow physician orders, document care, and report concerns to a licensed nurse. The role includes Saturday-Sunday shifts (6:00am–10:00pm) with pay at $18.00 per hour and included benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas MA permit (Medication Aide) in good standing.
• Must hold a Texas CNA certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a medication aide preferred.
• Reliable commute to San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents per physician orders.
• Provide care to residents following facility policies.
• Report residents' needs to a licensed nurse.
• Requisition medications and supplies for timely administration.
• Participate in supervision of care provided to residents.
• Document medication administration and monitoring; report adverse changes to licensed nurse.
• Perform duties of Certified Nurse Aide as assigned.
