Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Greenville, SC seeks a Certified Medication Aide under the direct supervision of the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes, maintaining the highest quality resident care at all times.

Responsibilities include reporting changes in patient condition to the Patient Care Supervisor, following charting guidelines for PRN documentation, noting med reorder, participating in trainings and meetings, and maintaining drug inventory records.

Qualifications

• English communication skills required (spoken and written).
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current Medication Aide certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
