Job summary

Harrington Park Health & Rehab in Augusta, GA is hiring a Part-time Day Certified Medication Aide (CMA). You will administer physician-ordered medications and perform point-of-care testing following clinical guidelines, while coordinating with the nursing team to ensure resident safety.

The role requires a Georgia CMA/CNA certification, strong organizational skills, and proficient computer use. We offer weekly pay, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician ordered medications (oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal).
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 per physician direction.
• Perform finger stick blood glucose testing per clinical guidelines.
• Document medication administration and any declinations in the resident’s record.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care (bathing, grooming, dressing) as needed.
• Report changes to the licensed nurse and communicate with family and health care providers.
