Responsibilities

• Receives report at the beginning of shift with nurses.
• Reports observations concerning patient condition or medications to supervising nurse.
• Prepares and administers routine and PRN medications as prescribed by physician.
• Documents administration of medications per policies.
• Maintains medication supply and cleans/restocks carts and room.
• Notifies pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Maintains confidentiality of PHI and safety practices.
