Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications (PO, topical, and rectal) per orders and policy.
• Monitor for adverse drug reactions and changes in resident status and report.
• Document all medication administration accurately per policy.
• Maintain secure control of medication cart and ensure a safe environment.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Follow infection control procedures during medication administration.
• Report any medication errors immediately to the Charge Nurse.
