You will administer prescribed medications, monitor for adverse reactions, document actions accurately, and maintain a secure, hazard-free environment while protecting resident privacy and following

Qualifications

• Must hold current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience in medication administration procedures.
• Clear communication and professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PO, topical, and rectal medications per orders and policy.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and changes in resident status; report promptly.
• Document all medication administration in line with policies.
• Maintain medication cart control and a safe environment.
• Safeguard resident privacy and adhere to infection-control procedures.
• Report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse immediately.
