Ideal candidates hold a Texas Medication Aide certification and bring experience in medication procedures, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and professionalism in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must have TX Medication Aide certification and be able to dispense medications per physician orders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
• Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PO, topical, and rectal meds per orders and policy.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Document all medication administration accurately in the chart.
• Maintain a safe medication cart and compliant environment.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Follow infection control procedures during administration.
• Report any medication errors promptly.
