You will administer prescribed medications, monitor resident status, and document all medication administration following policy. Qualifications

• Holds a current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience and competence in medication administration procedures.
• Communicates clearly with patients and team, showing patience and professionalism.
• Pays close attention to detail and ensures accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications per orders and policy.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and changes in resident status.
• Document all medication administration accurately.
• Maintain control of the medication cart and ensure safety.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Follow infection control procedures during administration.
• Report medication errors promptly to the Charge Nurse.
