Requires a current Texas Medication Aide certification and strong attention to detail. You’ll work with a supportive team to ensure timely medication administration and uphold privacy and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: PO, topical, and rectal as ordered.
• Monitor and report adverse reactions or resident changes.
• Document medication administration accurately.
• Maintain medication cart safety and a hazard-free environment.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow infection control procedures during administration.
• Report errors to the Charge Nurse immediately.
