Stonegate Nursing & Rehabilitation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our care team. You will administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and on schedule, following the five rights and established protocols to ensure safety and well-being.

You will collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals, maintain precise medication records, monitor residents for adverse reactions, and support routine care tasks while upholding confidentiality

Qualifications

• CMA certification current and valid as required by state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of medication administration principles and safety standards.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and timely following the five rights.
• Monitor for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns promptly to nursing staff.
• Maintain detailed medication records including administration and condition changes.
• Assist nursing staff with routine care tasks to support resident health.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety protocols.
• Communicate with residents to explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Participate in ongoing training and competency evaluations to stay certified.
