Oklahoma Department of Corrections is hiring a Patient Care Assistant at the Allen Gamble Correctional Center/Medical. The role involves direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under supervision, including vital signs, ADL assistance, and charting.

Certification as a CMA is required for all levels, with Level II expanding duties under medical direction. Positions are full-time, on-site, with a non-negotiable salary: Level I $41,600 and Level II $45,760.

Formación

• Knowledge of the English language to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to record observations and activities, to follow directions, and to establish effective working relationships.
• Knowledge of public health services and basic nursing techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs, assist with activities of daily living and hygiene.
• Chart observations and report changes in patient condition.
• Escort patients to and from destinations and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Order, receive and store supplies; perform basic clerical tasks.
• Participate in follow-up activities and track clients; schedule appointments.
