Job summary

Noble Health Care Center in Noble, OK is seeking a full-time Certified Medication Aide to join our resident care team. You will administer oral and topical medications under a licensed nurse's supervision, following physician orders and facility policy.

Ideal candidates have a valid state nurse aide certification and a state-approved medication administration credential, with keen observation and excellent communication abilities. We offer health, dental, vision, life insurance and more benefits.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nurse aide is required.
• State approved medication administration certification.
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
