Earn a $500 recruitment payment for full-time positions and a $500 quarterly CMA retention payment.

The Iowa Veterans Home, located in Marshalltown, Iowa, is a long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional, resident-centered care and enhancing the quality of life for Iowa’s Veterans and spouses. The starting pay is $19.43 per hour, with an additional $0.75 when passing medications.

Open Positions for Certified Medication Aides

Options to work include:

• 3-day work week; 14-hour shifts (6 A.M. - 8:30 P.M. OR 3:45 P.M. - 6:15 A.M.); working 1 out of 4 weekends
• 8-hour evening shift (2 P.M. – 10:30 P.M.); working every other weekend
• 10-hour night shift (8:15 P.M. – 6:15 A.M.); working every other weekend
• Weekend package shifts with retention payments up to $5,000 paid over 26 pay periods. Lodging and meals are available upon request.

Requirements include being a Certified Nursing Aide with a Medication Aide Certificate. Responsibilities involve passing medications as per MAR, performing basic personal care following a plan of care, and completing documentation.
