Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to work under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The CMA will ensure timely and accurate med passes to maintain high-quality resident care at all times.

The position requires English communication skills, prior patient care experience preferred, and current CMA certification. This on-site role features a 7am-7pm schedule with shift differentials for double weekend shifts and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
