Job summary

Meadows Park Health & Rehab in Vidalia, GA is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for night shift. You will administer physician-ordered medications, insulin, and glucose testing per clinical guidelines, and document appropriately in the resident’s record.

You’ll also provide routine care and dressing changes as needed. Starting pay ranges from $18.40 to $20.25 per hour with evenings, nights, and weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Aide in GA.
• Certified Medication Aide in GA.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal medications.
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 under physician direction.
• Administer medications via metered dose inhaler.
• Perform finger-stick glucose testing per guidelines.
• Document medication administration or declination as required.
• Report unusual reactions to medications to treatment team.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Perform dressing changes per physician orders and guidelines.
