Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Ashland is currently hiring Per diem Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join our caring, resident-focused team.

As a CMA, you will administer medications under supervision of a licensed nurse, monitor residents, document accurately, assist with ADLs, and help maintain safe medication carts in a skilled nursing setting.

Nebraska Rural Health incentive program eligible; benefits include daily pay, insurance, 401k, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification in NE is required.
• Current CNA certification in NE is required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are necessary.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders.
• Observe residents for side effects or reactions and report changes promptly.
• Document medication administration in accordance with facility policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and storage areas.
• Follow all state regulations and facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents.
