Job summary

Archway Transitional Care in Macon, GA seeks qualified CNAs and Certified Medication Aides to administer physician-ordered medications and provide routine patient care in a nonprofit, mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Aide in Georgia.
• Certified Medication Aide in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications including oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal routes.
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 per physician direction and guidelines.
• Perform finger stick blood glucose testing.
• Document medication administration and any declinations.
• Report unusual reactions to medication and communicate with residents and families.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
