Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team at the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina. You will administer medications and provide patient care support in a structured correctional healthcare environment.

The role is full-time with an evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, rotating every other weekend. Night and weekend shift differential is available, and the position avoids early-morning starts.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
• Experience administering medications within scope of practice preferred.
• Experience working in healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications within your scope of practice and established protocols.
• Assist with routine patient care and clinical needs.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Maintain accurate medication and medical records.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow healthcare, safety, and facility security procedures.
