Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team at the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina. This full-time role offers an evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

You’ll administer medications, assist with routine patient care, document vital signs, and collaborate with nurses and providers in a correctional setting. The position includes an every-other-weekend rotation and night/weekend shift differential.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required or equivalent.
• Active licensure or certification as CMA in North Carolina may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications within your scope of practice and established protocols
• Assist with routine patient care and clinical needs
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information
• Maintain accurate medication and medical records
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals
