Job summary

Southern Health Partners in Concord, NC is seeking a Full Time Certified Medication Aide for the Evening Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) on a rotating every-other-weekend schedule, at the Cabarrus County Jail facility.

You will administer medications, document vitals, and support routine patient care under established protocols, while collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, compassionate care for inmates.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina CMA certification
• Must be listed on the North Carolina CMA Registry
• Competency in medication administration and blood glucose monitoring
• Ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Previous correctional healthcare or medication administration experience preferred
• Willingness to work every other weekend on rotating schedule
• Background check, drug screening, and credentialing requirements must be satisfied
