Cantex Continuing Care Network in Houston, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer oral and topical medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Monday-Friday 6am-2pm at Ashford Gardens – Houston, TX 77076. The role emphasizes patient safety, accuracy, and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• State certification as a Nursing Assistant mandatory.
• State approved medication administration certification (where required).
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications under supervision of a licensed nurse per policy.
• Observes and reports reactions to medications to a licensed nurse.
• Records medication administration and patient responses.
• Maintains secure medication carts and rooms per regulations.
• Participates in facility education in-services.
• Assists with patient safety and supports team leaders.
