Job summary

Brightview Senior Living in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a compassionate caregiver/medication aide to provide warm personal care, assistance and companionship to residents. You will engage residents in ADLs and collaborate with nurses to update care plans, while encouraging participation in community programs and activities.

Applicants should hold a valid Medication Aide certification (NJ) or equivalent technician certification in other states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Positive attitude and passion for working with people.
• Certified as a Medication Aide (NJ) or Technician (MD, RI, PA, VA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm personal care, assistance, support and companionship to residents.
• Engage residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitor day-to-day changes.
• Work with the nurse to update the Resident Care Plan as needed.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
