Job summary

Morningside Ministries in San Antonio is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Aide to assist licensed nursing staff with routine resident care. The role involves administering medications, documenting PRNs, and monitoring residents for adverse reactions as part of a compassionate, team-based care approach.

Qualifications

• Must have Texas Medication Aide certificate.
• Minimum of one year related experience preferred or experience as Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the prescribed health care plan.
• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedule.
• Administer PRN medications if authorized by the charge nurse.
• Document all PRNs according to state standards in all areas of the chart.
• Observe and report adverse reactions or side effects to the supervisor.
