Cherry Blossom Health & Rehab in Macon, GA is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to administer physician-ordered medications and provide routine resident care. You will document administration and any reactions, and maintain compliance with clinical guidelines under physician direction.

The role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and compassionate communication with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) in Georgia.
• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications including oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal and other routes.
• Document medication administration and resident responses per clinical guidelines.
• Provide routine resident care (bathing, grooming, dressing) as needed.
• Perform finger-stick glucose testing and insulin administration as directed.
• Report changes to the nurse and maintain accurate resident records.
