Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated CNA with a valid certification to join our team at Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community in Waco, TX. The role also requires a current Medication Aide certification; responsibilities include administering medications, tracking vital signs, and responding to resident needs with care and accuracy.

Applicants should be reliable, compassionate, and able to document procedures precisely.

Qualifications

Must have a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
Must have current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage and time of administration on specified forms or records.
Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures.
Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
Other duties as assigned.
