Fox Trail Memory Care Living (MCL), New Jersey's largest provider of residential Alzheimer's & Dementia care, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA). Role Description

The CMA, serving as a Care Partner, provides exceptional care tailored to residents' individual needs, understanding their unique preferences, and supporting their wellness plans. Our CMA's are dedicated to enhancing residents' quality of life through compassionate service and building meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and families, assisting with daily activities
  • Attend to personal care needs such as grooming, bathing, feeding, incontinent care, and mobility assistance
  • Follow individualized care plans, providing support based on specific resident needs
  • Maintain residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity
  • Interact warmly to promote a caring environment
  • Collaborate with team members and follow management directions
  • Create engaging activities for residents
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and homelike environment
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication distribution
Qualifications
  • Passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills
  • Flexibility to adapt role duties for the community's benefit
  • High School diploma/GED
  • State-required certification/license
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Previous senior care experience preferred
  • Ability to make resident-focused decisions
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to lift over 75 pounds for resident transfers
Compensation

Salary: $20 - $22 per hour
