Job summary

The Timbers Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Edmond, OK seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for Memory Care. You will administer prescribed medications, document outcomes, and support residents with daily living activities in a memory care setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer, assist, and supervise the administration of medications according to physician orders.

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, grooming, mobility, and feeding.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, cognitive, or emotional status as needed.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Administer, assist, and supervise the administration of medications according to the physician's order.
• Document medications administered, along with their effectiveness and any side effects. Update the patient's chart.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, including shaving, oral care, nail care, hair care, foot care, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in the resident's physical condition and cognitive/emotional status, as needed.

Experience and Education

• Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care environment preferred.
