Job summary

Bradford Village Healthcare Center in Edmond, OK seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer prescribed medications and support residents with daily care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

You will document medication effects, assist with daily living activities, and monitor residents for changes, while pursuing career growth through education funds, certifications, and clear pathways to CNA/RN advancement within a 3-11 shift schedule.

Qualifications

• CMA certification is required and must be valid.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, assist, and supervise the administration of medications per physician orders.
• Document medications given and monitor effectiveness and any side effects; update patient charts.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or cognitive status as needed.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Administer, assist, and supervise the administration of medications according to the physician's order.
• Document medications administered, along with their effectiveness and any side effects. Update the patient's chart.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, including shaving, oral care, nail care, hair care, foot care, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in the resident's physical condition and cognitive/emotional status, as needed.

Experience and Education

• Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care environment preferred.
