Care Initiatives is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for Crestview Specialty Care in West Branch, IA. We offer Full Time- Part Time Days with a competitive hourly rate and shift differential.

Join our compassionate care team across Iowa's skilled nursing communities. You will support daily living activities, monitor residents’ health, and provide meaningful companionship while collaborating with the healthcare team. Care Initiatives emphasizes inclusion and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of Iowa, or ability to activate certification.
• Valid certification as a Medication Aide in Iowa, or ability to activate.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Provide health monitoring and conduct routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.
