Are you a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) seeking a new opportunity? Cell Staff, a nationwide healthcare staffing company, partners with correctional facilities across your state to connect talented nurses with meaningful roles. We are looking for you to join our client’s medical team!

CMA Details

  • Full-time schedules
  • Every other weekend required
  • 12-hour shifts available
  • Contract position

CMA Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications to incarcerated individuals following healthcare provider orders and facility protocols.
  • Monitor and document medication administration accurately, including timing, dosage, and method (oral, topical, injection, etc.).
  • Maintain detailed records of medication logs and inventory for audits and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state, federal, and correctional regulations regarding medication and health services.
  • Assist with other healthcare tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs, health screenings, or providing basic first aid.

CMA Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited educational institution
  • Licensed as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of employment, with a good standing license
  • At least 1 year of relevant CMA experience
