Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Higher Call Healthcare and Rehab Center is seeking CMA’s/ACMA's to join our team.

CMA Description of the Position:

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide residents with routine daily nursing care delivered in a compassionate attitude and in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and philosophies as may be directed by your supervisors. As a CMA/ACMA, you will be responsible for assuring that all residents are given their medication in a timely and orderly manner, as well as maintaining proper documentation and ordering from the pharmacy. We are a team-driven facility, so you will be asked to step in and help wherever needed, and the rest of your team is asked to do the same for you!

CMA Requirements:

  1. Must be able to bend, walk, stand, lift, carry, push, and handle equipment, supplies or patients exceeding 50 pounds.
  2. Must function independently and have flexibility (rotating weekends required), personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, employees, and support agencies.

CMA Qualifications:

  1. Must have a current Oklahoma CMA/ACMA.
  2. Must obtain a current BLS CPR card.
